For many years now, young women in Uganda have faced challenges with contraception in regards to the stigma, accessibility, knowledge of how to use them, different benefits, and side-effects among others. 

For that reason, Femme Forte Uganda saw it fit to organize an Equip Circle, where the older generation will share their experience with contraception highlighting what worked for them and what the younger generation could do better, questions around contraception will be addressed by professional medical personnel and women will speak about their experiences and perceptions on contraception.

Equip Circle Objectives

● To equip participants with knowledge about contraception

● To empower participants to make informed choices regarding using contraceptives

● To provide a safe space for intergenerational conversations on contraception

● To distribute free and authentic “morning after” pills for those who might need them
